Style Crush

I love Swedish blogger Victoria Tornegren minimalistic fashion sense. She works a stylist, freelance model and designer. She's only twenty two two years old but is renowned for her blog victoriatornegren. Her style is very casual yet chic at the same time. Below are some of my fave looks of hers.

My picks of the month

Payday is tomorrow so I have been scouring the net looking for some new outfits. Here are some of my fave pieces currently available online now!

River Island - With the beautiful detail on these shoes they could easily pass for a designer pair.

Asos - I adore this Asos jumpsuit, chic and funky at the same time

Asos - A great causal outfit but still dressy enough to wear to a Sunday Brunch

Sheike- A great office to bar dress perfect to wear on a Friday

Forever New - I have been looking for cape for ages and this is a great option. It would look good worn casually or dressed up.

Choies - These patterned shorts and matching top are great alternative to a dress on a night out.

Miss Guided - This dress is a great statement dress for a special occasion or night out.

Asos - A great way to spice up a plain top or a suit jacket

Choies - I love the cut of this coat and I love wearing white in the winter. This coat would go with so many items and is a bargain at $89.99.

Balmain inspired Bodycon Dress

I love the image above of the embellished dress by French fashion house Balmain. As soon as I saw it I immediately started to look for something similar. I came across this pearl encrusted black bodycon dress from Asos that looks quite similar to the Balmain piece. The detailing is beautiful and I adore the cut out back. I teamed it with a Vamp Lip color and ankle boots to give it an edgier look. You can get this dress here!

The Peplum

Peplum-the clever little frill that extends from your waist to your hips and I believe it is the most flattering addition to any ladies closet. I am not talking 80's style ruffles, it’s more of a structured flounce that nips in at your waist (where it is the smallest) and flares out over your belly. Kim Kardashian wears it well and even Kate Middleton has been giving the peplum a go. A fitted skirt is the most popular way to work this look. Peplum is a runway style that's easy to pull off as the high streets flooded with good quality imitations.

Lusting after this month

There is so much cute stuff in the shops at the moment for Autumn/Winter it's hard to know what to choose from. This always seems to be the case as it comes to the end of my pay cycle and funds are becoming low! Check out my 'must have's' on the high street for the month of April.

This Stunning structured coat is from Sheike and looks great with leather pants or black skinny jeans

Cotton On fur coat - Ok so it might not be everyone's cup of tea buts its fun and getting cold

Sportsgirl Leather Skirt- I hate what they have teamed it with in picture but this skirt looks so stylish on and it is so versatile.

Miss Selfridge Dress- Looks amaze with cowboy boots and a leather jacket

Topshop Heels- These look very similar to the Celine shoes that are so popular right now and a fraction of the price at $80!

Maxi dress for night

I had previously only ever thought of the Maxi Dress as a beach time look to wear only with flats on the beach when the sun is out. I could never get my head around wearing them on a night out. However recently I have been obsessed with the beautiful night time maxi dresses all over the high street. They do make you feel very glam elegant and a little different to the norm sat night dress. Be careful with your choices as you don't want them to look like a formal evening gown.
