What I Wore This Week
This week most of the stuff I have been wearing has been very casual as I have not been in the mood to get dressed up! I particularly love the Zara camouflage pants, they are very versatile and go with so much. I wore them with Zara spiked heels and a leather peplum top from Sportsgirl during the day and at night I changed into flats and a Gilet to walk my dogs.! I also wore white jeans with a black stripe. Monochrome is going to be huge look for Autumn/Winter 2013. I purchased them from Cotton On from their 'exclusives' online section. I would recommend checking it out here the stuff is high quality, really funky and reasonably priced.

Burberry Style Peplum Coat
The classic Burberry trench coat has been on my wish list for years now, but has always somehow managed to elude me.The classic no-frills model, just never makes it to the top of my wish list. There is always something more exciting that I am after. That all changed on a miserably wet day in Sydney, while all couped up indoors, I find myself daydreaming about frolicking in the rain in the gorgeous new trench from the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 collection.
It is quite possibly the coat of my dreams: there’s tweed, there’s a peplum and it is simply perfection. Sadly, this bad boy had to stay in my daydreams as it retails for about $2000. I have spent the last year trying to track down a high street equivalent to no avail. That was until I discovered a very similar coat online last week that retails for just $70. I teamed it with a red pencil skirt from Asos.

The Peplum
Trend Report
Peplum-the clever little frill that extends from your waist to your hips and I believe it is the most flattering addition to any ladies closet. I am not talking 80's style ruffles, it’s more of a structured flounce that nips in at your waist (where it is the smallest) and flares out over your belly. Kim Kardashian wears it well and even Kate Middleton has been giving the peplum a go. A fitted skirt is the most popular way to work this look. Peplum is a runway style that's easy to pull off as the high streets flooded with good quality imitations.
