Splurge Vs Steal

I'm so obsessed with these sunglasses by Celine, I haven't fallen so hard for a pair of sunglasses in a long time. In the past any time I have splurged on sunglasses ,I have either lost them or broke them.  I was very excited when a came across a very similar pair from Sportsgirl  for only $39.95. I picked myself up two pairs black and brown :)

Dipped Back Jumpsuit

I wore this Bardot charcoal grey, dipped back jumpsuit whilst on a sunset cocktail cruise on the Zambezi river in Zambia, Africa. I accessorized with a red stone necklace and faux zebra print sandals all from Sportsgirl. The sunset was truly spectacular and river had some amazing wildlife on display it was a very memorable experience.

Africa

I have been in Africa for over a week now, I  arrived in Cape Town, South Africa on Saturday and finally have access to some Wi-Fi. I have had a truly amazing time and can't believe it's already coming to an end. Today's outfit was super casual for some city sight seeing. I wore an over sized t-shirt dress from River Island, boots from French Connection and topped off the look with some super trendy mirrored sunnies from Sportsgirl.

The T-Shirt Dress

I have been looking for a simple, yet fashionable outfit that I can wear at weekends whether I am walking my dogs, shopping or brunching and the t-shirt dress fits that brief perfectly! It has a cool, casual, chic vibe and looks great with a pair of hi top trainers and sunnies. The great thing is that you can also dress it up for a night out with a pair of heels and a gorgeous clutch. The t-shirt dress is very comfortable and flattering and I am definitely going to make it a staple in my wardrobe.

Exposed Zip Red Pencil Dress

I wore this dress Friday night to dinner, I teamed it with black ankle boots from Aldo and a black Chanel clutch. The dress is from Victoria Beckham's collection, I adore her designs. They are comfortable, very stylish and I love the exposed zip detail in the back. Her dresses are a little more than what I would usually pay however I believe they are well worth the money as I have worn this particular one countless times and never get bored of it!

Sport Luxe Loving

I am loving the Sport Luxe trend, it's really big at the moment with both Marc Jacobs and Alexander featuring it in their most recent collections. It is fuss free and totally ticking the comfortable box. Think luxury sweatshirts and tanks, mesh and exposed zips. I had a bit of a pain in my head today from too much wine so this is the perfect trend that allows you to remain comfortable  but still stylish.

Love Lockdown

Last night I went around to my cousin's house for dinner. I wanted to be quite comfortable but still fashionable. I recently purchased these leather jogger pants however I had avoided wearing them for fear of looking like Kayne West gone wrong! I have to say I loved them, I think they look really stylish, super comfortable and are great if you plan on eating a large meal as they have elasticated waist band :)

What I Wore This Week

This week most of the stuff I have been wearing has been very casual as I have not been in the mood to get dressed up! I particularly love the Zara camouflage pants, they are very versatile and go with so much. I wore them with Zara spiked heels and a leather peplum top from Sportsgirl during the day and at night I changed into flats and a Gilet to walk my dogs.! I also wore white jeans with a black stripe. Monochrome is going to be huge look for Autumn/Winter 2013. I  purchased them from Cotton On  from their 'exclusives' online section. I would recommend checking it out here the stuff is high quality, really funky and reasonably priced.
