Monochrome and Pink

Its been a while since my last outfit post and that's simply becuase I gained 3kg while on holidays. I always struggle to get back into a healthy routine but when I split two skirts at work I knew it was time! I never really shopped on Boohoo.com as I always thought clothes were, well kind of tacky, that was until I was out with a friend who was wearing a gorgeous outfit all from Boohoo.com. I decided to give it another go and was pleasantly surprised as there are some really cute, affordable pieces. I picked this cute pink scuba midi skirt  that was only $32.00 and had some really cute detailing. I teamed it with a black and white striped body suit and black patent pumps.

The Look for Less

So my sister has been asking me to do a look for less post like this for ages, so I finally got around to doing it. I choose upcoming style star Lily Collins who was attending a party to celebrate her cover of flaunt magazine. She wore a stunning Roland Mouret monochrome pencil skirt and cropped structured white top, teamed with Jimmy Choo pumps and red lipstick. You can  find a similar look for less below.......

Burberry Style Peplum Coat

The classic Burberry trench coat has been on my wish list for years now, but has always somehow managed to elude me.The classic no-frills model, just never makes it to the top of my wish list. There is always something more exciting that I am after. That all changed on a miserably wet day in Sydney, while all couped up indoors, I find myself daydreaming about frolicking in the rain in the gorgeous new trench from the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 collection.

It is quite possibly the  coat of my dreams: there’s tweed, there’s a peplum and it is simply perfection. Sadly, this bad boy had to stay in my daydreams as it retails for about $2000. I have spent the last year trying to track down a high street equivalent to no avail. That was until I discovered a very similar coat online  last week that retails for just $70. I teamed it with a red pencil skirt from Asos.
